IT'S MONDAY & WE ARE LOVING LIFE

#ENJOY Mondays sometimes feel like the new beginnings. In fact, they are the start of a long, exhausting week before we can go and run free naked off to the sunset. Or maybe Monday is a symbol of chances, option to change, take up more or keep it steady as it goes.. your life I mean. I'm going to make Monday my new best friend who asks me every week how am I doing, have you been good and should we try harder or enjoy the stability we've created? As Sundays for me are always for pampering and for total coma (by choice) Monday will be sweet, carefully energetic and kind. Now, back to finishing my evening tea – I'm out of champagne, so I have to settle.

MY WEEKS START FROM TUESDAYS

For me, Tuesday is the correct day to start your week – not Monday cause usually I feel it comes way too soon and Sunday isn't just long enough! So here is how I started my amazing week: by enjoying some great food and spending time alone at home. Sounds boring but for me this is mandatory after an weekend full of friends and people. I have time to sleep in and concentrate on my favorite person, me. After a little renovation I just adore my Hki apartment right now, so sweet and cozy – so me. 

This week is all about eating clean and preparing myself for regatta event in Hanko (Finland). I hope to see a lot of friends there and thankfully the weather is finally looking good. Everything just comes together somehow and it's beyond calming. Have a great week everyone out there, xoxo.

ENJOYING MY COZY SUNDAY

Just saying hello from my cozy bed, enjoying the rainy Sunday evening. My weekend was filled with great moments with great people and I saw a lot of really dear, old friends. The summer weathers haven't still kicked off yet and I'm only hoping it would get warm before this next weekend: we are spending it in Hanko (in Finland) where my parents are going to attend a regatta and I'm waiting to see my old friends again which is the best thing. I'll be back with other topics, now back to just enjoying spending time in my small but lovely apartment (I'm just totally a home person). Have a great one! 

HELLO DEAR READERS

LET'S GET INTIMATE AND WIDER OUR RANGE OF TOPICS. As many of you have probably noticed already, I've made a lot of changes to blog layout and post formatting. After a long break I felt like writing again, but wanted to cut the BS (not going to explain here for what that stands for, look it up). I feel comfortable to writing in English but if I get lot of requests for Finnish subtitles, I would be more than willing to do those also for every post. My mission is to cover different topics as they touch my life in some way. Not sure what that means exactly still, but I am sure we are going to find out. If you have ideas or wishes for different topics I would be really happy to receive them via comments or email.

QUIET XMAS

SORRY I HAVE BEEN ON MY QUIET MODE LATELY. Hope everyones Christmas went well, me and my whole family spent it in Hanko city at our summer house. I returned to Helsinki pretty quickly, only after 2,5 days. Since I have been working on things that are still unfinnished before welcoming the New Year. It hasn't felt like holiday at all, or this year my xmas spirit was nowhere to be found. Maybe next year will be better.
I am going to spend my New Years eve at Helsinki, nothing special this year but it's the people who make it magical. So nothing too exciting.. haha! Wishing you all the best and happy New Year!

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

THIS YEAR WINTER CAME QUICK AND CHRISTMAS TIME EVEN QUICKER. There have been so many events, birthday parties, school tasks and national holiday celebrations that for me, this Christmas time came totally out of the blue. I haven't been able to feel the real merry feelings, no time for think about the presents or even make the vital decision where to actually spend the Christmas (in Helsinki or Tallinn). School assignment deadlines are banging the door (on behalf of the elves this year) and this whole stressing over holidays seems ridiculous because all the other "more" important stuff going on. My birthday party at least went ridiculously well and maybe I will post some photos here also, if they are suitable for some topic. This year still has been truly okay one, old friends have became even closer and I have taken care of family relationships ever better. It's all good, right?

So these are the only Christmas lights in my apartment in Tallinn. They are actually the only Christmas related decoration this year, no time for anything else. But I actually function sometimes better when there are several things going on and it decreases the stressing about unimportant things.

Olipas taas unet. Juttelin myöhään illalla vielä erään erityisen henkilön kanssa, enkä ole helposti lukkoon menevää tyyppiä – mutta edelleen vuosienkin jälkeen kuullessani toisen äänen sitä vaan jäätyy ja höpöttelee aivan ohi aiheen ja heittää turhia, tyhmiä vitsejä.
Sen jälkeen on taas hetkellisesti sekaisin, ikävä iskee täysillä vaikka sitä yrittäisi pysyä järjissään ja positiivisena. Ei mitään järkeä.

Kuulin eilen ohimennen; aika ei helpota tuskaa tai paranna haavoja, saati laimenna tunteita. Aika vain helpottaa asioista puhumista, ja silloinkin osa päivistä on vaikeampia kuin muut.
Sellasia ne elämän rakkaudet kuulkaas on.

MY THOUGHTS: ABOUT DEATH

Kuten useimmat tuttavani tietävätkin jo, olen hieman ajattelevaa tyyppiä. Rakastan fiilistellä maailman hyviä ja huonoja tunteita. Tämän takia julkaisen välillä vanhoja koulutekstejäni, jotai aika ajoin lueskelen ja fiilistelen, pätevätkö samat ajatuksen nykyääkin. 

As many of who know me knows that I am a thinker. I love to feel and think about all the good and the bad in our world and that's why I sometimes posts my old school text so I re-feel my thoughts and can measure if they match still.

Mitäs siellä puuhaillaan näin torstaina? Täällä ollaan "nautittu" kesälomasta hengailemalla sisällä, koko päivän. Meinasi käydä aika pitkäksi, mutta sitten innostuin meikkailemaan itseäni (näin käy usein jos minulla on liikaa aikaa käytettävissäni). Löysin todella taivatan ja kauniin meikkaajan kanavan Youtubesta, josta löysin jo monta videota minkä avustuksella voisi kokeilla erilaisia lookeja. Tutustukaa ihmeessä! 

What are you guys up to today? I have been just staying inside for the whole day, and when I almost got bored I started to do my make up (this happens often when I have too much time in my hands). I found this really talented and beautiful make up artists channel in Youtube, in which are many tutorials I will try in the future. Go check her out!

WEDNESDAY INSPIRATION

 Innostuin kuvailemaan muutamia asukokonaisuuksia kun olen asunnonvahtina vanhempien luona tämän viikon. Täältä löytyy kaapeista vaikka mitä kivaa, monet ihanat vaatteet ovatkin kulkeutuneet minun asunnolleni ja näin ollen vaihtaneen vainvihkaa omistajaa. Kuuma tässä hommassa kuitenkin tuli, joten parin otoksen jälkeen homma tyssäsi aikalailla. En myöskään pysty siirtämänään kuvia kokonaisuudessaan vielä koneelle, joska kameran piuha on vielä hetkellisesti hukassa.
Ainakin meikit on nyt jo valmiiksi naamassa, pitääpä tästä lähteä pyörähtämään vielä kaupungilla ihailemassa auringonlaskua ja lämmintä kesäfiilistä.

BACK TO BASICS

Viikonlopusta selvitty ja nyt on vähän liiankin tyhjä olo. Vaikka olen tähän asti aina hypettänyt Stadia ihan viimeideen asti, niin nyt tämä pölyinen ja ylimielinen kaupunki on viimein jäänyt toiseksi. Tampere on tällä hetkellä niin kova sana, toivon ettei tästä nyt ihan masennu kun ei pääse heti takaisin. Pitää yrittää löytää Helsingistäkin jotain uusia virikkeitä, vaikkakin ne ihanat ihmiset tekivät sen Tampereenkin..

Survived from the weekend and feeling just too empty. Although till this day, I have been hyping Helsinki as the best city of Finland, now it has been come off as second-best. Tampere is the IT place right now for me that I truly hope that I will not fall into depression because I cannot return
